Worcester police seize drugs, ammunition in early morning raid

WORCESTER — On Feb. 19, Worcester Police Department Vice Squad officers executed a search warrant at a King Street apartment and a vehicle.

The operation began at approximately 6 a.m. when officers entered the apartment.

Several individuals inside the apartment were detained while the search was conducted.

Officers reported finding substances believed to be cocaine and fentanyl, along with 9mm ammunition and packaging materials.

Alfred Pemberton, 23, and Fausto Peralta Ruben, 24, were arrested at the scene.

Both face charges of trafficking in cocaine (18-36 grams), possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, and possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card.
