CUBA — On Feb. 18 at approximately 11:43 a.m., Cuba Police arrested Stephen M. Austin, 48, of Ishua, N.Y., following an incident on Cuba Lake.
Austin faces charges of disorderly conduct, a violation; criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor; and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors.
In a separate incident, on Feb. 17 at approximately 11:33 p.m., Cuba Police arrested Daniel S. Ackerman, 58, of Cuba, N.Y., following a report of a motor vehicle accident.
Ackerman was charged with operating a motor vehicle without insurance, a violation, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, an unclassified misdemeanor.
Both individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
