PUTNEY — Two Putney residents were arrested on instate warrants following a disturbance on Old Depot Road earlier this month.
The Windham County Sheriff’s Office responded to the incident at approximately 11:53 p.m. on Feb. 13.
Deputies identified the individuals as Rufus Williams, 31, and Heather Walker, 39, both of Putney.
Investigations revealed both had active instate warrants for their arrest.
Williams and Walker were taken into custody and transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility.
Both were held on $100 bail and appeared in court on Feb. 14.
The incident was logged as case number 25WHC000873.
