Four in custody following New Bedford drug raid

NEW BEDFORD — Detectives arrested four suspects Monday following a drug raid on County Street that resulted in the seizure of drugs and cash.

On Feb. 17, detectives from the Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau concluded an investigation into a suspected cocaine distribution operation at 868 County Street, Apt. 6.

The primary target of the investigation was 21-year-old Raymon Caraballo Munoz.

During the search, detectives confiscated 106.5 grams of crack cocaine, a digital scale, a cutting agent, 23 suboxone film strips, a stun gun, and $2,300 believed to be drug proceeds.

Raymon Caraballo, Kenny Gonzalez, 24, Juan Berdiel Caraballo, 56, and Dajarae Andrade, 23, were all charged with trafficking more than 36 grams of cocaine and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws.

Raymon Caraballo and Dajarae Andrade also face additional charges of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession of a stun gun.

Detective Matthew Couture led the arrests.
