ROCKINGHAM — A Massachusetts man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and providing false information to police.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:26 p.m. on Feb. 18 on Interstate 91 in Rockingham.
A Vermont State Police trooper encountered a suspicious vehicle and initiated an investigation.
The operator, identified as Preston Harrison, 40, of Sturbridge, Massachusetts, was found to be under the influence of drugs.
Harrison also provided false information to law enforcement during the encounter.
Harrison was arrested and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.
He was later released with a criminal citation to appear in court.
Harrison is scheduled to appear before the Windham County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on April 1 at 8:30 a.m. to face the charges.
