BRADFORD — A two-vehicle crash on Goshen Road early Saturday morning led to the arrest of two individuals on charges including driving under the influence and resisting arrest.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to the scene at 1:06 a.m. on Feb. 15 after receiving reports of the crash.
While investigating, an uninvolved vehicle arrived to assist in pulling one of the crashed vehicles back onto the road.
Donna Guillette, 22, of Norwich, exited the uninvolved vehicle and repeatedly attempted to approach the crash scene.
Troopers took her into custody after she resisted arrest.
She was charged with impeding public officers and resisting arrest.
The driver of the uninvolved vehicle, Travis Basnar, 23, of Bradford, displayed signs of impairment during interactions with troopers.
He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
Both Guillette and Basnar were transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
They were later released with citations to appear in Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division.
