TINMOUTH — A Rutland City man was charged with driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash on Feb. 15.
At approximately 11:54 a.m., Vermont State Police responded to a report of a crash on VT Route 140 in Tinmouth.
Troopers identified the driver as Jason Burden, 39, of Rutland City.
Burden’s vehicle had gone off the south shoulder of the roadway.
An investigation determined Burden was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
He was transported to the Rutland Barracks, where he was processed for DUI.
Burden was released with a citation to appear in Rutland Superior Court Criminal Division at a later date.
