NAPLES — A 73-year-old Naples man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after deputies found his vehicle in a ditch on Upper Hill Road in the Town of Middlesex.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:58 p.m. on Feb. 14.
Deputies observed Ronald M. Hey’s vehicle off the roadway and conducted a series of standardized field sobriety tests.
Hey was charged with operating a motor vehicle with .08 of 1% or more alcohol in his blood, driving while intoxicated, and moving from a lane unsafely.
He was transported to the Yates County Jail for a chemical test and later released on tickets.
Hey is scheduled to appear in the Town of Middlesex Court at a later date.
