WALTHAM — A Middlebury woman has been charged with simple assault following an incident in Waltham earlier this month.
On Feb. 8 at approximately 6:30 p.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police responded to a report of an assault on Maple Street.
Investigators determined that Megan R. Lussier, 39, of Middlebury, assaulted Josie Royce, 20, of Waltham, outside a residence before fleeing the scene.
Lussier was located on Feb. 13 and cited to appear at the Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division.
She is scheduled to answer to the charge at 12:30 p.m. on April 7.
