FITCHBURG — The Fitchburg Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Destiney Harris, a 17-year-old black female who was last seen leaving her home in West Fitchburg on Feb. 13.
Harris is 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs approximately 220 pounds, and has brown eyes.
She has short black and blond braids and was last seen wearing pink shorts and a pink tank top.
Authorities believe Harris may have packed a bag with additional clothing and personal items before leaving.
She was last seen on foot but is believed to have been picked up by a vehicle.
Harris attends school in Worcester but has not been in attendance recently.
Investigators suspect she may be attempting to return to the Worcester area, though her exact destination is unknown.
Anyone with information regarding Harris’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Fitchburg Police Department.
