Man arrested for violating court-ordered conditions of release in Mount Tabor

MOUNT TABOR — On Feb. 12 at 2:50 p.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks arrested Jason Hoffman, 47, of Mount Tabor, for violating his court-issued Conditions of Release.

Troopers determined Hoffman had contact with a person he was prohibited from contacting.

Hoffman was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks for processing.

The Rutland Superior Court ordered Hoffman to be held on $200 bail.

He is scheduled to appear in Rutland Superior Court on Feb. 13 at 12:30 p.m.

The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Warden Service and the Mount Tabor Constable assisted in the incident.
