WATERFORD — A 33-year-old homeless man was arrested Wednesday morning after allegedly breaking into a residence on Cross Road and violating multiple court-ordered conditions.
Anthony Heath was taken into custody by troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks and deputies from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department following a 911 call at approximately 11:12 a.m.
The caller, Joan Paro, reported that Heath was breaking windows to gain access to the home.
Upon arrival, authorities found Heath inside the kitchen eating a sandwich.
Investigators determined Heath had thrown a farm milk jug through the front door window to enter the residence.
He was also found to be in violation of three court-ordered conditions of release, which prohibited him from being at the Cross Road property and engaging in violent activities.
Heath was additionally charged with petit larceny, unlawful mischief, and failure to comply with the Sex Offender Registry requirements.
The victims, Eric Carpenter and Joan Paro, reside at the Waterford property.
Heath was transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
