ROCKINGHAM — On Tuesday, Feb. 11, the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation in the town of Newington.
Rockingham County Sheriff Deputies and Newington Police attempted to stop a vehicle in Newington.
The operator, identified as Cory Shaheen, 30, of Dover, New Hampshire, led deputies on a pursuit through Newington, Dover, and Somersworth.
Shaheen fled on foot into a trailer park located on Crystal Springs Way in Somersworth.
A Rockingham County Sheriff K9 team tracked Shaheen and located him a short time later.
Shaheen is charged with habitual offender, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, conduct after an accident, criminal restraint, false imprisonment, resisting arrest, reckless operation, disobeying an officer (two counts), and speeding.
He is being held on preventative detention at the Rockingham County Jail following his arraignments in the Dover and Portsmouth District Courts.
