ROCKINGHAM — On Feb. 11 at approximately 2:35 p.m., Vermont State Police dispatch received a report of a two-car crash with entrapment and serious injuries on Route 121 in Saxtons River.
Troopers, EMS, and Fire responded to the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a 2013 Ford Escape driven by Travis Allen, 37, of Athens, was traveling east on Saxtons River Road when it crossed the center line and struck a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado traveling westbound, driven by Shane Goldsmith, 37, of Bellows Falls.
Allen sustained serious injuries and was transported by medical helicopter to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where his condition is currently unknown.
Goldsmith sustained minor injuries and was transported to Springfield Hospital for evaluation.
Both vehicles were totaled in the crash.
