WAKEFIELD — A report of a serious firearm incident Monday afternoon led to a multi-agency response and the temporary closure of a local school and roads.
The Wakefield Police Department said the Carroll County Dispatch received the report at approximately 4:45 p.m. about an incident in the area of Forest Street.
Authorities responded to the scene and shut down nearby roads as a precaution.
