Police investigate burglary at Woodbury convenience store

WOODBURY — Connecticut State Police are investigating a burglary at the Woodbury Convenience Store on Main Street South.

Troopers responded to the scene at 11:16 p.m. on Feb. 8 after multiple alarms were triggered.

Investigators determined the burglary occurred between 11:02 p.m. and 11:18 p.m.

An unidentified individual, described as wearing a light-colored sweatshirt and dark-colored pants, forced entry into the store by breaking a glass window.

The suspect stole approximately $600 to $700 in cash and an older model iPhone.

This marks the second burglary at the store in less than a week.

On Feb. 2, around 5:19 a.m., the store was burglarized and $600 was stolen.
