MANCHESTER — A Manchester man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing outside a city convenience store.
Kyle Bisson, 25, was released on personal recognizance bail following a magistrate hearing Saturday.
He faces charges of second-degree assault and two counts of falsifying evidence.
Manchester police responded to Bunny’s Convenience Store on Elm Street around 8:30 p.m. Friday after reports of a stabbing.
Officers found a 42-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The victim was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital.
Police later located Bisson on Bridge Street and took him into custody.
During the hearing, prosecutors requested preventative detention, citing the violent and random nature of the attack.
Police said the victim attempted to flee during the altercation, but Bisson pursued him and continued stabbing him.
Prosecutors also noted Bisson’s prior criminal history, including a domestic violence-related conviction in October 2024.
He received a 60-day suspended sentence, suspended for two years, in that case.
Magistrate Stephanie Johnson granted Bisson PR bail with standard conditions, including a no-contact order with the victim.
