PALMYRA — Maine State Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Interstate 95 northbound on Saturday, February 8, at approximately 7:15 a.m.
Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash at mile marker 155 in Palmyra.
The vehicle, a 2008 Toyota Matrix, was driven by 20-year-old Tatiana Medeiros of East Providence, Rhode Island.
Initial reports indicate Medeiros was traveling in the left-hand lane when her vehicle left the roadway and struck the median.
Medeiros was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by Maine State Police.
