PLAINFIELD — A local man was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly violating an abuse prevention order.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police Berlin Barracks responded to a report on Brook Road at approximately 8:49 a.m. on Feb. 8.
After an investigation, authorities determined that Scott A. Houston, 38, of Plainfield, had violated an abuse prevention order issued against him by the court.
Houston was arrested without incident and later processed.
He was released with a citation to appear in Orange County Criminal Division at a later date to answer to the charge.
