WESTBROOK — A driver was charged with Driving to Endanger after a 3-car crash with injury on Cumberland Street at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Westbrook Police Department.
Police said the driver failed to defrost their front windshield before driving, causing them to slam into a car that was waiting at a red light.
The impact sent that car into the vehicle in front of it.
The crash occurred because the driver could not see the stopped traffic in front of them due to the iced-over windshield.
None of the injuries sustained in the crash were serious, police said.
