WORCESTER — Worcester Police Gang Unit officers recovered a loaded handgun and various calibers of ammunition during a search of a Suffolk St apartment on Feb. 5.
Around 7 p.m., officers from the Gang Unit, Crime Gun Intelligence Unit, and Emergency Operations executed a search warrant related to an ongoing firearms investigation.
Upon entering the apartment, they located the loaded firearm.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested at the scene and faces multiple charges in connection with the firearm.
The Worcester Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
