WATERBURY — A motor vehicle crash occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 6, at the intersection of VT Route 100 and Guptil Rd. amid snowy weather and snow-covered roads.
Vermont State Police report that Samuel Huff, 53, of Lowell, was waiting at a red light in his silver 2017 Toyota RAV4 when his vehicle was rear-ended by an unidentified dark-colored mid-size SUV.
The SUV fled the scene heading south on VT Route 100 without exchanging information with Huff.
The RAV4 sustained rear contact damage, though Huff did not report any injuries.
Witnesses, particularly those who saw a silver RAV4 followed by a dark SUV around the time of the crash or those at the intersection during the incident, are urged to contact Trooper Mae Murdock at the Berlin Barracks by calling (802)229-9191.
