JERICHO — On Feb. 5, at 6:47 a.m., troopers from the Williston Barracks responded to a single-vehicle crash on Route 15 at the intersection of River Rd.
Investigation revealed Violetta Ayrapetova, 48, of Colchester, was driving east on Route 15 when she lost control of her vehicle due to poor road conditions.
To avoid rear-ending the vehicle in front of her, Ayrapetova veered off the roadway and struck multiple road signs and a light post.
Troopers were assisted on scene by the Underhill/Jericho Fire Department, Jericho Highway, and Ron Bushey Auto.
