BOSTON — Boston Police, working in conjunction with Massachusetts State Police, Taunton Police, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, recovered multiple firearms, including one with a machine gun switch, during an early morning search warrant execution in Dorchester on Feb. 4.

The search, which took place around 6 a.m. at 26 Lorne Street, was part of an ongoing investigation led by the Youth Violence Strike Force.

The team successfully seized three firearms, with one weapon being modified with a machine gun switch, enhancing its firing capability.

In addition to the three firearms, officers uncovered a fourth gun classified as a Ghost Gun, which is often untraceable due to the lack of a serial number, with a magazine containing ten rounds.

Cornell Brown, 38, a resident of Dorchester, was arrested at the scene.

He has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.

Brown is scheduled for arraignment at Dorchester District Court, where he will face the charges brought against him.
