LINCOLN — On Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., troopers arrested Bryan Jerez, 29, of Providence, for felony assault by use of devices similar in appearance to a firearm and disorderly conduct.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation, and Jerez being located and subsequently taken into custody.
At 1:00 p.m., troopers arrested Blaze Miranda, 24, of New Bedford, as a fugitive from justice out of the State of Florida on the original charge of burglary of unoccupied structure.
The arrest was the result of troopers responding to Providence Superior Court and taking Miranda into custody.
At 10:27 p.m., troopers arrested Isaiah Roman, 26, of Providence, for a Third District Court bench warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of driving with a suspended license, originating out of the North Providence Police Department, and driving with a suspended license – fifth offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Chalkstone Avenue in Providence.
At 10:30 p.m., troopers arrested Joseph Goodrich, 33, of Webster, on a Superior Court full bench warrant for failure to appear for pre-arraignment conference for the charge of possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance, originating out of the Rhode Island State Police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in Providence.
At 10:45 p.m., troopers arrested Shaquille Hazard, 32, of North Providence, for an affidavit and arrest warrant on the charges of failure to stop for an accident resulting in damage to attended vehicle, false report of a crime, and obstructing an officer in execution of duty, originating out of the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject being taken into custody by the Providence Police Department.
On Thursday at 1:11 a.m., troopers arrested Jael Baez Fernandez, 21, of Providence, for possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance over 10 grams (psilocybin) and possession of marijuana over 2 ounces.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on March Street in Providence.
