Warrant arrest leads to drug charges after traffic stop in Adams

ADAMS — A warrant arrest led to additional drug charges after a traffic stop on Meadow Street on Feb. 4.

At approximately 4:40 p.m., officers conducted a motor vehicle stop and identified a female passenger with active warrants for previous drug charges.

Upon arresting the individual, officers discovered a significant amount of crack cocaine.

The suspect was charged under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 94c Section 32 for possession of Class A (Fentanyl) and Chapter 94c Section 32E for trafficking Class B (Crack Cocaine).

The investigation is ongoing.
