Police seek help identifying suspect in Brookline shoplifting case

BROOKLINE — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who may have been involved in a shoplifting incident last month.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Jan. 29 at the Stop & Shop located at 155 Harvard St.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a green vest, blue jeans, glasses, and a Red Sox hat.

Police emphasized that the individual is not currently wanted but is being sought for questioning.

Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives.
