Montville police patrol leads to drug sales arrests

MONTVILLE –– A routine patrol at a local business parking lot resulted in two arrests for drug sales late Saturday night, Montville Police Department reported.

Officers, conducting checks due to reported suspicious activities, observed what appeared to be a narcotics transaction.
Upon investigation, two individuals were arrested, one of whom has been previously detained for similar offenses.

The Montville Police Department emphasizes that such patrols are proactive measures to ensure community safety and are not merely aimless driving.
They also remind the community that drug selling can involve individuals of any age and that repeat offenses are common.
