Scituate barracks reports weekend arrests for suspended license, outstanding warrant

WOONSOCKET — Rhode Island State Troopers on Sunday arrested a Millville man on charges related to driving with a suspended license under special circumstances.

Jeffrey Ouellette, 55, of 513 Chestnut Hill Road, was apprehended following a motor vehicle stop on Diamond Hill Road at approximately 12:52 p.m.

Ouellette was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and presented as a bail violator before being turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions (ACI) Men’s Intake.

In a separate incident early Monday morning, Troopers arrested Peter Wilson, 57, of 160 Andrews Avenue, West Warwick, for an active bench warrant issued by the Providence Superior Court.

The warrant was for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Possession of a Schedule I to V substance, stemming from the Pawtucket Police Department.

Wilson’s arrest occurred around 12:50 a.m. after Troopers responded to a disabled vehicle on Route 6 West in Johnston.

He was also processed at State Police Headquarters and later transferred to the ACI Men’s Intake Facility.
