KEENE — A serious motor vehicle accident on Route 101 near Swanzey Factory Road prompted the closure of the highway for several hours on Monday.
Keene Police were notified of the incident, which led to traffic being diverted from Swanzey Factory Road to Optical Ave.
The cause of the accident and the condition of those involved have not yet been released.
As of the latest update, the roadway has been cleared and reopened to all traffic.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the accident.
