Milford man arrested after brandishing firearm during altercation

MILFORD — On Sunday, officers responded to a reported altercation at the Shadowbrook Condominium complex where a firearm was brandished.

The Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a 911 call around 4:39 p.m. regarding a dispute between two males.

Upon arrival, Milford Police Department officers interviewed witnesses and identified those involved.

At 5:34 p.m., Robson De Sousa, 19, was arrested at police headquarters and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, threat to commit crime, and disorderly conduct.

The investigation is ongoing.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
