Waltham police arrest two in connection to Bacon Street stabbing

WALTHAM — Two suspects were arrested following a stabbing incident at a residence on Bacon Street on Feb. 1, the Waltham Police Department reported.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 4:39 p.m. and found a 59-year-old victim who had been stabbed.

Emergency medical technicians provided care at the scene, but the victim declined further treatment and opted not to be transported to the hospital.

Investigating officers quickly located the two suspects, Kevin Watts, 44, and Toshara Ondric, 33, both residents of Waltham.

They were taken into custody and charged with Attempted Murder, Home Invasion, Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.

Authorities confirmed that the assault was targeted and reassured the public there is no ongoing threat to community safety.

The Waltham Police Department has declined to conduct on-camera interviews at this time as the investigation continues.
