Adams man faces drug charges after disturbance call

ADAMS — At approximately 10:48 p.m. on Jan. 31, officers from the Adams Police Department were dispatched to a report of a fight in progress on Spring Street.

Upon arrival, officers encountered a male individual outside in the area.

The encounter led to the man’s arrest after officers discovered he was in possession of a significant quantity of narcotics.

The individual has been charged under Massachusetts General Laws; Chapter 94c Section 32E for trafficking Class B substances, specifically crack cocaine, and Chapter 94c Section 32 for possessing Class A substances, heroin, with intent to distribute.

The suspect is currently being held on a $5,000 cash bail.
