MANCHESTER — A Manchester resident has been arrested on multiple counts of possession of child sexual abuse images following an extensive investigation by the local police department’s Cyber Crime Unit.
The investigation, which spanned several months, led authorities to 43-year-old Bruce Floyd.
After identifying Floyd as a suspect, law enforcement officials obtained and executed a search warrant on his electronic devices.
The search revealed numerous sexually explicit images of children.
Based on the evidence gathered, an arrest warrant was issued for Floyd, charging him with 15 counts of possession of child sexual abuse images.
Earlier this month, Floyd was taken into custody and has since been held on preventative detention, awaiting further legal proceedings.
