PROVINCETOWN — A rash of vehicle break-ins took place late Saturday night into early Sunday morning in the west part of Provincetown, prompting an investigation by local authorities.
According to the Provincetown Police Department, several vehicles were tampered with, although many were locked and not entered.
Four vehicles, however, were breached by unknown individuals.
The affected areas include Pleasant Street, Franklin Street, The West End Parking Lot, and parts of Commercial Street.
The police department has released images of the individuals believed to be involved in the incidents and is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.

The department has not yet released any details regarding the number of suspects or the value of items stolen from the vehicles.
