Woman arrested for domestic assault, reckless endangerment in Braintree

BRAINTREE — A Braintree woman was arrested on charges of aggravated domestic assault and reckless endangerment following a reported family fight on Jan. 26.

Vermont State Police received a call at approximately 3:43 p.m. about a disturbance at a residence on Dustin Dr. Upon arrival, troopers discovered that a household member had sustained minor injuries during a physical altercation.

The investigation led to the arrest of 31-year-old Emily McCall, who was accused of causing bodily harm to the victim in a reckless manner.

McCall was taken into custody and processed at the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks.

Following her arrest, McCall was released with conditions and a citation to appear in court to respond to the charges.

The Vermont State Police have not released the name of the victim, in accordance with policies to protect individuals involved in cases of domestic violence and sexual assault.
