BURKE — A New Hampshire man sustained minor injuries when his truck rolled over on a snow-covered road in Burke on Jan. 26.

Marc Demarie, 53, of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, was traveling downhill on Pinkham Road around 12:45 p.m. when his 2018 Ford F150 slid on the icy surface at a sharp corner, according to the St. Johnsbury Barracks troopers.

The vehicle left the roadway, rolled onto its passenger side, and came to a stop against a tree.

Demarie, who was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident, suffered minor injuries while exiting the truck.

He was later taken by a private vehicle to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury for treatment.

The truck incurred cosmetic damage and deployed airbags.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Local authorities are reminding drivers to exercise caution and adjust their speed during winter conditions.
