WEYMOUTH — Police are asking for the public’s assistance following a vehicle versus pedestrian crash that occurred on the evening of Sunday, Jan. 19.
At approximately 6:38 p.m., an unidentified dark-colored SUV struck a pedestrian on Pleasant Street near Columbian Square and left the scene without stopping.
The suspect vehicle is expected to have sustained damage to the front end, hood, and possibly the windshield.
Officer Evan Reilly of the Weymouth Police Department Traffic Unit is leading the investigation.
