CAVENDISH — Troopers from the Westminster Barracks arrested a local man Saturday morning on charges of domestic assault, reckless endangerment and cruelty to a child.
Kevin Austin Jr., 31, of Cavendish, was taken into custody after authorities responded to a report of a domestic incident on High Street at approximately 11:05 a.m.
Austin is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division, on Jan. 27 at 12:30 p.m. to answer to the charges.
He is currently being held on $10,000 bail.
