NORWALK — A 19-year-old Norwalk man was arrested Thursday on multiple charges of sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, police said.

Bryan Flores-Calero of 40 Oak Street Apartment 2 faces two counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of risk of injury to a minor, according to the Norwalk Police Department.

The arrest stems from an investigation that began Nov. 21, 2024, when a family member reported to police that a minor had been sexually abused.

Detective English of the Special Victims Unit led the investigation, which resulted in an arrest warrant being issued on Jan. 23, 2025.

That same day, patrol officers located Flores-Calero driving his vehicle and took him into custody during a traffic stop.

Flores-Calero is being held on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 6, 2025.
