MANCHESTER — Police arrested two individuals on Wednesday morning after an earlier assault involving a machete at a local parking garage.
At around 9:30 a.m., officers responded to an apartment at 292 Belmont St, where they apprehended 18-year-old Jeremiah Medina, who was wanted in connection with the violent encounter.
The incident, which took place earlier in January at the Vine St Parking Garage, involved the physical assault and threatening of a 21-year-old man with a machete.
Through their investigation, authorities were able to identify Medina and issue a warrant for his arrest.
He was charged with Criminal Threatening and Simple Assault upon his arrest today.
During the operation, police also arrested 19-year-old Alexander Medina Jr. on an outstanding warrant from Concord.
The circumstances surrounding the Concord warrant were not immediately disclosed.
Both individuals are currently in custody as the investigation continues.
