Man faces multiple charges after I-89 incident in Berlin

BERLIN — Troopers arrested 60-year-old Michael Audet of Williamstown after responding to a vehicle incident on Interstate 89 South on Jan. 22 at 8:39 p.m.

According to authorities, Audet’s vehicle was found off the edge of the Exit 7 ramp.

Signs of impairment were noticed, leading to his arrest on suspicion of DUI.

He was processed at the Berlin barracks and then lodged at the Northeast Correctional Facility.

Audet was also wanted on a warrant for Failure to Appear related to other charges.

He faces additional accusations including Criminal Refusal, Driving with a Criminally Suspended License (DLS), Aggravated Operation without Consent of the Owner, False Reports to Law Enforcement Authorities, and Violations of Conditions of Release.

He is scheduled to appear in the Washington County Superior Court, Criminal Division on Jan. 23 at 12:30 p.m.
