York County Sheriff seeks help finding stolen dirt bike

1 min read

ACTON — The York County Sheriff’s Office is appealing to the public for help in tracking down a stolen dirt bike, taken from a yard in Acton.

Authorities say the suspects maneuvered the green 2020 Kawasaki KLX 110 CLF through a wooded area to Route 109, where it’s believed to have been loaded onto a trailer or vehicle.

The missing dirt bike can be identified by its absent front racing number plate, which is usually situated in front of the handlebars.

The Sheriff’s Office has released an internet-sourced image of a similar KLX 110 model for reference, though it is not a photo of the actual stolen bike.

The theft is thought to have occurred in the early hours of Monday, January 20, specifically on the hill south of Willys on Route 109.

Deputy Sheriff Shawn Sanborn is leading the investigation and has requested that anyone with information about the bike’s whereabouts or who may have seen suspicious vehicles parked on the roadside during the time of the theft contact him via email at [email protected].

The York County Sheriff’s Office is committed to recovering the stolen property and urges anyone with information to come forward.
