PELHAM — A single-vehicle crash early this morning has led to the arrest of a Nashua man on charges of driving under the influence and reckless operation.
Pelham Police Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at 563 Mammoth Road at about 12:21 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a 2004 Acura TSX with significant damage to both the front and rear ends, off the roadway.
The driver, identified as 24-year-old Harrison Pound of Nashua, N.H., was unharmed and no passengers were in the vehicle.
The investigation concluded that Pound was traveling southbound on Mammoth Road when he veered off the road, colliding with a rock wall and a tree.
Officer Dakota Clark led the investigation and determined that Pound was impaired at the time of the crash.
Pound was taken into custody without incident.
He is scheduled for arraignment at Salem District Court on Jan. 27 at 8 a.m.
