Stamford police seek public’s help in locating missing girl

STAMFORD — Stamford Police Department’s Special Investigations and Juvenile Offense (SIJO) unit is urgently searching for Caterine Munoz-Rojas, a girl reported missing since Dec. 26.

Caterine, who was born on Oct. 9, 2011, might be the victim of a crime, according to detectives.

Regularly seen on the west side of Stamford, particularly around Leone Park, she also has known connections to West Haven.

The last sighting of Caterine was when she left her home accompanied by an unidentified male riding a black motorcycle.

Authorities are calling on anyone with information about Caterine’s last known movements or current location to immediately contact Detective E.

Police emphasize that even seemingly minor details could be crucial in ensuring Caterine’s safe return.
