Providence man arrested on larceny warrant after traffic stop

JOHNSTON — A Providence man was taken into custody late Thursday after a traffic stop led to the discovery of an outstanding larceny warrant, according to Rhode Island State Police.

Francisco Suarez, 31, was arrested at 9:05 p.m. on Route 6.

The arrest warrant, issued by the North Kingstown Police Department, charged Suarez with larceny.

Troopers from the Scituate Barracks initiated the vehicle stop that resulted in Suarez’s arrest.

Following the stop, he was transported to State Police Headquarters for processing.

Suarez was later handed over to North Kingstown authorities.
