Traffic stop in South Yarmouth leads to drug charges for Eastham woman

SOUTH YARMOUTH — A routine lane violation led to the arrest of an Eastham woman on drug charges Thursday morning.

Felicia Daley, 54, was a passenger in a vehicle that improperly made a left turn from a right-turn lane at a multi-lane intersection.

Yarmouth Police Detective and his K9 partner, Gauge, observed the infraction and conducted a traffic stop.

During the stop, Daley was requested to exit the vehicle.

In conversation with the detective, she confessed to carrying cocaine.

A subsequent search uncovered multiple bags of crack cocaine, fentanyl, and a crack pipe in her seating area.

Daley faces charges including Possession of a Class A Drug, Possession of a Class B Drug, and Possession of a Class B Drug with Intent to Distribute.

She was arraigned later that day in Barnstable District Court.
