LEICESTER — A Natick man was arrested Thursday after Leicester Police linked him to a series of property crimes including breaking and entering and larceny.

The Leicester Police Department reported that they responded to a past B&E and larceny at a home on Marshall Street on Aug. 21.

While investigating that incident, they learned of an attempted B&E and trespassing at a nearby home on Mulberry Street earlier the same day.

After canvassing the neighborhoods and reviewing surveillance footage, in conjunction with intelligence from Worcester Police and evidence collection, detectives identified 36-year-old Fredlief E. Rasch of Natick as the suspect.

Rasch, known to travel between Worcester, Framingham, and Natick, was located in the Main South section of Worcester.

Following a brief foot chase, Rasch was arrested on Dec. 19 on a related warrant.

He faces charges including daytime breaking and entering for felony, larceny from a building, two counts of conspiracy, trespassing, and attempted crime (B&E in the daytime for felony).

Rasch was arraigned at East Brookfield District Court the following morning and is currently held on $5,000 bail at the Worcester County Jail & House of Correction.
