FedEx driver robbed at gunpoint in Harvard

HARVARD — At approximately 12:43 p.m. on Jan. 9, the Harvard Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery targeting a FedEx driver on Stow Road.

Upon arrival, officers learned that two masked individuals had forcibly taken a package from the driver after exiting a white Acura TLX with heavily tinted windows and a Connecticut license plate with the partial letters “BN.”

Although no weapon was shown, the suspects threatened the driver, suggesting they were armed.

The victim, who was unharmed, had been delivering a package when the incident occurred.

Law enforcement, assisted by neighboring agencies, immediately launched an investigation, which included analyzing home surveillance video from nearby residences.

The footage showed the suspect vehicle parked in the area for several hours before the robbery, hinting at a premeditated act.

Harvard Police Chief James Babu emphasized the need for community vigilance and encouraged residents to report any suspicious activities.

Police are pursuing leads, including additional surveillance footage and resident reports.
