NORWOOD — At approximately 11:15 a.m., Norwood Police Department officers and Norwood Fire Department personnel responded to an incident on Union Street where a car had crashed into a residence.
The operator of the vehicle, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary investigations suggest the driver may have suffered a medical event while behind the wheel.
Authorities are currently on the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
No other injuries were reported, and damage to the house is being assessed.
